Amateur Radio Service

Members of the Canyon Lake Amateur Radio Services (CLARS) consist of licensed amateur radio operators (Hams) and others who have joined together to provide communication in an emergency. They are also members of the Riverside County Radio Amateurs Civil Emergency Service (RACES) involved, which coordinates this activity with surrounding communities. Emergency generators and radio equipment, donated by the HomeOwners Club, are located at the Fire Station.
